Detailed Itinerary
Drive Kathmandu to rural village via Gorkha Bazzar (1,522M)
Highlights of the day: Drive through Nepali highway along the Trishuli river, from Abukhaireni ascend hilly roads leading up to Gorkha. You’ll see the hillside settlements before arriving at historic Gorkha Bazzar, home for the famous Gorkha Durbar (Palace) and gateway to Manaslu region treks. Tour of Gorkha bazar, Palace on the way and stay over in a village with a host family.
Explore Nepali village at the foot of Mt. Manaslu
Highlights of the day: Experience the rural lifestyle in foothill of Manaslu mountain of Nepal. Hike around village and explore the farming style of the people.
Drive from Homestay to Machha Khola (960M) and trek to Dovan (1,070M)
Highlights of the day: Drive along Budi Gandaki River to Machha Khola via Arughat Bazzar. Short and easy first day of your Manaslu trek – lets begins.
Trek Dovan to Philim (1,570M)
Highlights of the day: The trail gently ascent along the river side, crossing the suspension bridges, passing small villages on the trail and you’ll see the Mt. Siring Himal before reaching our today overnight spot.
Trek Philim to Bihi Gaun (2,130M)
Highlights of the day: After an hour of trek you’ll find the junctions, the right trail lead to Tsum whereas the left trail crossing the suspension bridge lead us to Manaslu trek.
Hike Bihi Gaun to Serang Monastery (3,100M) and back to Bihi Gaun
Highlights of the day: A day hike to Serang/Nubri Monastery is an eco-trail offers serene atmosphere of fluttering prayers flags and possibility of hearing chanting monks.
Trek Bihi to Namrung (2,630m)
Highlights of the day: The path takes us to beautiful lush green forest and the final approach to Namrung involves a steep, zigzag climb, presenting a challenging yet rewarding part of the trek.
Trek Namrung to Lho Gaun (3,300m)
Highlights of the day: As your ascent you’ll see the prominent shrines of Buddhist cultures, chortens, monastery and mani wall. Today journey welcomes you the majesty mountain view of Mt. Manaslu, Mt. Manaslu North face, Naike Peak and other surrounding peaks.
Trek Lho Gaun to Shyala village (3,520m)
Highlights of the day: More trekkers skip Shyala and go directly to Sama Gaun but we recommend our group to overnight here. This village provides an amazing 360’ view of snow-capped peaks including Mt. Manaslu, Mt. Naike Peak (Peak 29), Mt. Himal Chuli, Mt. Nadi Chuli.
Trek Shyala to Sama Gaun (3,530M) via Pungen Gompa (4,000m)
Highlights of the day: The area around the Pungen Monastery is known for its tranquility and the dramatic Mt. Manaslu Glacier, hanging ice cliffs, breathtaking snow-capped mountain views are the prominent features of this side trip.
Trek Sama Gaun to Samdo Gaun (3,860m)
Highlights of the day: Samdo is a traditional Tibetan refugees’ village with a higher altitude and open landscape offer panoramic and stunning views of Mount Manaslu and neighboring peaks.
Trek Samdo Gaun to Dharamsala/Phedi (4,460m)
Highlights of the day: The trail follow ancient salt-trading routes that have been used for centuries by Tibetan traders. Dharamsala is know as Larkey Phedi or Larkey Base Camp which serve as a vital acclimatization stop and final base for the challenging Larkey la Pass.
Trek Dharamsala/Phedi to Bhimthang (3,720M) via Larkya La Pass (5,160M)
Highlights of the day: The Larkey La Pass (5,106M) is the highest point of the trek, offering the most challenging climb and also a significant physical accomplishment are demanding. The high-altitude crossing pass offers the magnificent views of Mt. Manaslu, Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal and other several surrounding peaks.
Trek Bhimthang to Goa village (2,520m)
Highlights of the day: As you descend, the trail enters warm, dense forests filled with pines, firs, rhododendron flowers create a beautiful atmosphere.
Trek Goa village to Tilije (2,300M) and drive to Besisahar (760m)
Highlights of the day: Goa and Tilije are the charming Gurung villages along the trail, offering a glimpse into local culture.
Drive Besisahar to Kathmandu (1,400m)
Highlights of the day: After breakfast we’ll drive to Kathmandu via Dumre Bazzar.

Trip Faqs
How much weight do I allow for my porter?
One porter can carry two luggage of our client. One client should have maximum of 15 kg of luggage including their sleeping bag and other accessories. So, it means that one porter will carry maximum 30 kilos (kg) during the trek.
What level of physical fitness do I need for the trek?
You need to do few weeks of training prior arriving in Nepal which leads your journey more comfortable. With the full of preparation before trekking in Himalayas would make your journey more rewarding. Try to spend some hours in your Alps; hike to the upstairs, jogging or running (optional) few miles or (15-16 km) every day will probably best physical activity, which will be the more effective when you are in Nepal for trekking.
What is the number of Guide (Sirdar) & his assistant during the trek?
There is one Guide (Sirdar) in one Group but the numbers of assistant guide (Sherpas) are according to the size of the group.
Do I need to bring my personal medicine?
On the both way we care about your health and safety along the trek. We have also our comprehensive medical-kit-bag during the trek but we suggest you to have your personal medicines with you. We believe that “Prevention is better than Care”. So, be sure that have your personal medicine with you.
Are there ATM or telephone services during the trek?
ATM is available only in the cities like Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan and other main city of Nepal. Telephone services are available in many popular trekking routes; from there you can do international calls as well.
