After thrilling scenic flight to Lukla, the journey beings through lush green forest to alpine meadow up to high terrain mountain land. Along the way you’ll experience rich Sherpa culture, Buddhist monuments like monasteries, chortens, mani walls, colorful prayers flags and breathtaking Himalayan vistas. Achieving the final goal of reaching the base camp and sunrise from the summit of Kala Patthar (5,545M) for panoramic 360’ closer view of Mt. Detailed Itinerary
Fly Kathmandu to Lukla (2,850M) and trek to Phakding (2,610M)
Highlights of the day: After the adventurous flight to Lukla airstrip, the beautiful journey through the Dudh Koshi valley, passing through several traditional sherpa villages, crossing the Dudh Koshi river via suspension bridges making it a pleasant warm-up for very first day of our base camp trip.
Trek Phakding to Namche Bazzar (3,440M)
Highlights of the day: The trail ascent through dense forests of pine, rhododendron and leads you to the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park – a UNESCO world heritage site. You’ll cross the iconic landmark Hillery bridge in this route which serves as a vital connection for the local communities and also for the trekkers.
Trek Namche Bazzar to Khumjung (3,790M)
Highlights of the day: The trail offers an enriching experience combining altitude acclimation with breathtaking view of Mt. Ama Dablam and other peaks. Great opportunities to explore the two iconic traditional sherpa villages – Kunde and Khumjung.
Trek Khumjung to Tengboche (3,870M)
Highlights of the day: Visit the historic and largest Tengboche Monastery – a major Buddhist spiritual center. Tengboche welcome you with the fascinating view of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse and Ama Dablam.
Trek Tengboche to Dingboche (4,410M)
Highlights of the day: After crossing the suspension bridge over the Imja Khola, you make your way to Pangboche. You’ll trek through diverse terrain, moves into more barren to high-altitude barren land. The valley widens, offering spectacular views of towering peaks as you approach Dingboche.
Trek Dingboche to Lobuche (4,940M)
Highlights of the day: Experience a trek across alpine meadow, a trail features a tough ascent to Thukla Pass, a significant landmark before continuing the flatter terrain towards Lobuche.
Trek Lobuche to Everest Base Camp (5,380M) to Gorakshep (5,164M)
Highlights of the day: The trail from Lobuche is rocky, trekking through dramatic Khumbu glacier moraine and achieving the final goal of reaching the Everest Base Camp.
Trek Gorakshep to Pheriche (4,371M) via Kala Patthar (5,545M)
Highlights of the day: Morning hike to the summit of Kala Patthar for the sunrise, you’ll get the most spectacular 360’ closer view of Mt. Everest and other surrounding peaks, as it is not even visible from the base camp itself.
Trek Pheriche to Kenjuma/Kyangjuma (3,600M)
Highlights of the day: The journey descent the downhill through the ancient Pangboche village. If you are lucky, there is the possibility of encountering various wildlife in the forests. Kenjuma is the small and beautiful spot nestled just below the Khumjung village.
Trek Kenjuma/Kyangjuma to Manjo (2,835M)
Highlights of the day: The path to Namche Bazzar is downhill and the journey further to iconic Hillary suspension bride over Dudh Koshi Khola is steep. As we mostly gradually descent we’re approaching to Manjo village.
Trek Manjo to Lukla (2,850M)
Highlights of the day: The final day of your trek, the sense of accomplishment after completing the Everest Base Camp trek and returning to Lukla. Relax, last day celebration with your trek crew members and arrange your final flight to Kathmandu.
Fly Lukla to Kathmandu (1,400M)
Highlights of the day: As you take off from Tenzing Hillary airport, a short flight over the Himalayas, returning to Kathmandu.

Note: To reduce the heavy aircraft and runway congestion at Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) during the peak trekking seasons (Spring and Autumn). Allow flights for a more efficient and swifter recovery from weather-related delays and cancellations. Flights are operating from Ramechhap – Lukla – Ramechhap, approx. 20-25 minutes of flight.
